Do They Put Two and Two Together?

We have paleolithic brains and emotions, mediaeval institutions and godlike accelerating technology. So we don't usually realize that we've created a godlike technology until afterwards. And guard rails is what we're loking for here, not a freery speech, mystery of truth. But i think the problem, to answer your question, talking to us senators or national security leaders,. do they put two and two together? I think slowly, some are.
