Evil Dead 2 is low budget but even more so for the first one. It's just our main character played by Bruce Campbell, who is a brilliant comic actor really. He's brilliant at slapstick humor, which is why I felt it was like a Jim Carrey film. But also it's just this guy trapped in a, it almost like a single room, or in a log cabin. And the entire film is so, so self contained in just one space - yet it's so intense that it's like madness.
