She was studying at the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul when the Taliban stormed the compound killing 15 students and staff she has been forced to flee her home nation twice with her family because her army commander father feared for his life. Svetto tells us that she dislikes the use of the term refugee crisis an expression which has dominated the media over the past two decades Crisis is very negative right so it means that you are creating problems for us whereas I see something different you can see it as an opportunity for your country especially a country like the UK who needs workers.
