The Sedition Trial - Hamilton Fish and Congressman Ham Fish

Congressman Ham Fish was doing anything he could to stop the prosecution of his former staffer George Hill. Wheeler is not as deep in as someone like Hamilton Fish but he does not want the negative press. The judge, Judge Edward Iker, was being attacked from the right from the defendants and their supporters on Capitol Hill. Chief Justice Iker today dismissed Defense Attorney James J. Loughlin of Washington from having any further part in the mass Sedition Trial. He also heard about the ribbons of Defense Attorneys were sporting, calling themselves members of the Iker contempt club because of the fines that had been assessed against them. It was all very childish and unworthy of disciplinary action.
