The Moral Importance of Israel's Support for Lebanese Christians

The administration and much of the intelligentsia in this country has no values anymore. I think it was a moral obligation for Israel to invade Lebanon in 1982. The US sent troops to help escort Yes Arafat to UN ship that then took him to Tunisia. That was a vital strategic mistake. And I think where Israel failed is by listening to the administration of Ronald Reagan in 1982 when he stopped Israel from going into Beirut and catching Yes Arafat.
