"It's starting to look like these characters are all somewhat of the night of mirrors for Joel. We have Kathleen who is obsessed, but we do see this mirroring of this relationship that Joel and Ellie have in different versions," she said. "When he has this moment with her, he comes to see her and we've seen him be nervous about her course of action a couple of times."
