The Human Organism Is Not a Person

In my book, I distinguish between human organisms and persons. Human organisms have different persistence and identity criteria from persons. In the Constitution ontology that I'm using in this chapter, we say, a human organism constitutes a person. But a human organism isn't identical to a person. And so, I introduce this third category or this third kind of being called a social individual.
