The Four Views of Shame

In the West, people tend to think that it's only bad. It's not how it's seen around the world outside the West. What Brene Brown talks about is what I call psychological shame or simply low self esteem. And sometimes in the West, it feels like people, if they're talking about shame, it's like all shame is toxic shame. There is no difference.
