A lot of people with ADHD don't pursue interests or make the first move because they are afraid of rejection. This can lead to unhealthy relationships and risky behavior especially in terms of like sexuality and intimacy, she says. "I really believe that neurodivergent people have a right to have really spectacular and wonderful and safe and supportive you know intimate experiences"

Cate joins Hannah to talk about how typical understanding of ADHD has let down women and minority genders, having ADHD and dating, and how ADHD and kink can intersect. Cate unpacks rejection sensitivity and time blindness, discusses the relationship between ADHD and consent, and shares her opinion on why kink is a great tool for managing stimulation.
