Is Dracula a Horror Novel?

The story is an epistolary novel as well, right? Which means it's all told through letters, diary entries, journals. Was this one of the first of successful novels to do that? I think he was very influenced by will p. Collins, who uses a similar device in the moonstone. But there it's much more like a series of novellas that glue together into one over all story. Whereas dracular is sort of like foul footage. It collage of diaries, paper entries and telegrams. So the publication of the novel itself is part of the story of dracula. In that way, it's almost a modernist and its a story
