Why Do We Need More Whales to Live?

Natural carcasses are some of the largest forms of nutrition to fall from the ocean's surface. When these carcasses sink, they provide food to something like 400 species. Among other things, whale carcasses are known to transport a whopping 190,000 tons of carbon. The more whales we have pooping and dying in the oceans, the more we can combat climate change.
