Loss of Version

We homo sapians have something called loss aversion. And this is exactly what goes on in the third quadrant of a story, only psychological baggage that has to be shed. We have to kill off some ideas in our minds. The graduate decides he's going to throw away the suburban life. I'm going to reject everything my parents have told me,. and i am going to go and demand that the woman that i love recognize me  and tell me once and for all she will never, you know, be with me.
