Only the first and last chapter are writin hebrew. The whole book is written aromaic, which was the international language of politics at the time of daniel,. It tells the story of the gentile empires. And so it takes us into this final world empire. Because it tells us something very important about god. He says he changes times and seasons. He removes kings and installs kings. Sothat it attributes the rise and fall of empires and the coming and going of kings to the will of god. God is the king of kings. Even the gentile Empires of history will be decided by god's timing and will be under his authority.
