John Dene's Testimony - The Watergate Cover Up
Not everyone was persuaded by john dene's testimony. Questions swirled about his honesty and about his motivations. The nixon administration worked hard to discredit dean. They painted him as the master mind of the cover up, an opportunistic rat. He is the only man who discussed water gate repeatedly with the president who wasn't loyal to the president. Although it will be debated whether that makes his testimony more trustworthy or less.
