How Did the Wounded Heart Affect You?

In college, i come out of a background that has multiple kinds and layers of abuse in it. After you read the wounded heart, like, how did that book affect you? I think other part is is learning to be able to actually identify how that chamme ripples out into my own personal decisions. Where are the places where i find myself sort of freezing or paralyzed in to stepping into something that i want, or something that i desire?"
