How Do You Feel About Your Relationship With a Mental Illness?
I myself spent a half a year at McLean in Boston. And that's what inspired me to start this show. Yeah, when you deal with mental illness and you struggle with your, your sense of self and thought patterns, sometimes you just want to be with people who you can just exist. Do you feel like because you guys had this relationship prior to really starting the documentary, it gave you a level of success or intimacy? Oh, absolutely. Like had I not had that and not been friends, I wouldn't have even gotten the first two weeks in 2016.
