Is the Holocaust Relevant to the US?
After World War II, as Americans came to terms with the fact that they could have done more and didn't, they deliberately adopted this mantle of being the country that would welcome refugees. It's been an extremely important part of who we are. And if you haven't taken some time to think to yourself about what that means for you and your relationship to your country, I would urge you to do that.
