Start journaling your wins, even the little ones. Some of the best work out there is not quote unquote award winning. Most people who do interesting creative work went through a phase where they had really good taste but it wasn't as good as they wanted it to be. Do a huge volume of work so that you're doing something special every day. Put yourself on a deadline and don't let anything stop you from getting things done.
