Is There an Incentive Structure for Content Moderation?

I think that what accelerates this is the building the entire incentive structure around emotional engagement. It's just really hard for most of us to avoid that incentive structure because it's designed to suck us in. So you will often hear from the tech people that it's just sort of a neutral emergent property of scale, but, you know, they built it to incentivize this and it worked because they're good at what they do.
