Is There a Dissonance in Politics?
i think there's also a really big risk here. And this is what ihave seen in my closest brush with institutions of power and stuff. The times i've seen people collapse in the direction of identifying with the institution too much are when you're engaging with institutions like the military or these enormous corporations, and you're getting paid for it. You're flirting with your own worst instincts. So there's a real chance that something that's making you uncomfortable is something that is important to listen to.
