The Lord's Prayer Is Not Private Prayer
Acts chapter two is not about praying by yourself but praying with other people. The Lord's Prayer does not start, my Father who is in heaven, how does it start? Our Father who art in heaven, give us our daily bread, deliver us from evil. Hard things like prayer become easier things whenever we do them with others. I'll give you an example from the gym. What I found is that for some reason I can do more cardio and lift more weight at the gym than I can when I'm alone. We must devote ourselves to prayer.
