I was hesitant to do anything in healthcare for that reason when I started. It's not a big, scary monster like people think it is. There are tools like apptable and a bunch of other services that just give you the guardrails to just be HIPAA compliant from day one. We ended up hiring an in-house council pretty early. And that ended up being super, super helpful.
