The patient had lupus encephalitis, and they treated that- it's basically an autoimmune disease her brain was inflamed. They treated it, and she didn't just wake up. That's kind of- she slowly improved over months with treatment. The diagnosis was missed 20 years ago. This is a notoriously difficult diagnosis to make. I've had several patients with similar things. And when the other thing is like- Oh, ah. When cases like this are being presented on grand rounds, there's a few things that's a good guess. You know, that limbic encephalitis or whatever. Somebody missed encephalitis.
