How to Choose the Right Music Library for You

When you sign with a music library or sync agent, do they own your masters? By and large, no. Sync agents are kind of these column one stop shops, one stops, meaning they've cleared all the rights. If any sync agent is asking for more than 50%, don't work with them. Some of them want you to work for hire, meaning you send in compositions or recordings. They pay you for that but then they want all the rights and they want to own that.
