How to Write 500 Words a Day

i wrote an essay about this last week on my news letter at kel newport dot com, about john mc fee's slow productivity. By his own admission, mac fee rarely writes more than 500 words a day. That's not brandon sanderson level of productivity. And yet he is, on the big time scale, very prolific. He has written 29 books. Two of them have been nominated for national book awards. So i look forward to doing that again soon. Ad, in the meantime, i'm fitting and writing when i can. There might be some classic episode replays as i try to figure out how to balance this temporarily really heavy work load with the other things going
