A primary Aldo is the most common reason that we see resistant hypertension in patients. It's excess production inappropriate Aldosterone production by the adrenal gland. About 50% of the time it's due to a nodule that we can remove surgically. And the other 50% ofthe time it needs to be treated with medicines.
