"We've really not put as much effort into the just wants to use Python to do their job side of the user base than we should," he says. Poetry has their own implementation of lock files and dependency resolution. So does PDM, but there's nothing like standard for that and that should be the next step, I think, for applications. We didn't set out to see poetry created or see PIP and created or any of these, but it's there.
