CloudWatch - Is AWS Copying the Data?
The feature so sharing log groups and metrics is free of charge. So that's really cool. It doesn't seem like AWS is copying the data to the other account. You're just granting permissions, granting access to those resources. There was a similar feature before but it only supports aggregating data across accounts in the same region. But there is no way to build an overview over multiple regions with that feature.
