Is There an Easy Fictor or Is It?
A lot of people in the museum sector acknowledge that museums actually aren't neutral spaces. We did an investigation earlier this year where we revealed the details of the chairman's advisory group at the british museum. This is basically a group of representatives of major corporates. And so in that case, there's a really concerning example of private sectrry or these particular kinds of corporations having a great deal of influence in these splaces. A ally, we're not extending the same level of influence or accountability to the people whose cultures and communities are represented in the museum as well.
