"I find it extremely disappointing as someone who's been in the comedy community for many years of how I feel like there are so many people who go to that well," he says. "A person who has decided to fundamentally pursue a truth that alters everyone else's perception of who they are, there's a lot of bravery in that because it's a lonely thing and it's a thing that brings with it danger."
