Is the Victim Witness Act Unconstitutional?
The judge was the first in the country to rule that the Victim Witness Act was unconstitutional. The Trump team has made the argument that the change in the law is unconstitutional. There's this principle in the law about expos facto problems, which means if I commit an act today and a year from now, a legislature renders that act illegal, I can't be prosecuted for it because the act happened before the law was changed.
