When we have a feeling or a sensation that is uncomfortable, we are immediately trying to change it. I think this is something that i see, and i struggle with this as well. The best thing you can do is sit in that feeling and recognize it for what it is. And realistically, you'll probably be happier that you sat with it and then overcame it, then just ignored it.
