Privacy is going to start to become a luxury good and I wonder whether there aren't people that start building businesses around trying to obfuscate doing this. To me this especially when it comes to Facebook it's either delete your like delete your account or or not, the whole shadow profile thing doesn't even work. Well I think this is certainly a Microsoft opportunity to offer you know premium services to you know the reality is that's not an answer for Facebook because there isn't a Facebook alternative that we just talked about at the beginning that works on a four pay basis. And so I actually don't like the idea that this is happening and I will pay more as a result to avoid it.
In this week’s episode Ben and James discuss the problems with Ello’s business model, James’ discomfort with Facebook, and why Social Networks always have ads. We also talk about incentives and something surprising Ben learned from the notorious Episode 18.
