The Importance of Love

We have a long tradition of interpreting God as though God were some kind of transcendental person in the sky that seems remote from neighborly practice. But I think this is reflected when Jesus got asked what the great commandment was. He immediately said, you don't get one, you get two, and you have to take them both.
