My father was very happy that i wanted to do english literature. And my mother had started axessing a translation of bengali novels into canada. But in those days when she was reading this and telling me about it, at the same time her parents were not so supportive. They did not speak to me properly until i finished my degree - but then they all reconciled because they saw me doing things well. I translated two thousand four for which i got the sych academy price also.
