What Are the Effects of the Waves Breaking?

Waves travel upwards in the atmosphere and eventually they break. They deposit some of their energy into the atmosphere, which can affect our weather. The air is less dense as you go higher up so waves increase in amplitude. So eventually they just get too big, and that's why they break.
