What Was the Long-Term Impact of the Holocaust on the Children?
30% of the Jewish population survived the Nazi era, but only about 10% of the children. Those who survived and those who then told of their experiences were often discounted. Their stories were discounted. They were said, what do you know? What do you know about sex? And on top of that, the children themselves didn't have the words to describe what had happened or what they saw.
