The Threats to Democracy in the Polls

CNN poll shows 71% of Americans say democracy is under threat. But only 17% talk about threats in terms of Republicans, Donald Trump and other issues. CNN's John Sutter says the word "democracy" has become a workshark test for people. He says we have to get away from talking about democracy as an end of itself but rather how it threatens things like abortion or Social Security.
