How Did You React to the Loss of Richard Nixon?
I was very naive. I may be one of the only people on the campaign staff that thought he was going to win. So you ended up working your heart out in the campaign, and then nixon lost. How did you react election night, to realizing that pat brown had won? And i would say that alger hiss was not a straw enemy. He was a real enemy. And nixon absolutely made mince meat of him. Those that were inclined to favor hes never forgot it, never got over it.
