Is It a Good Idea to Learn English?

Many people immediately think that, well, if I'm going to learn English, then I should be fluent. But fluency in a language is the work of a lifetime and it requires incredible amounts of dedication. It's an absolutely perfect objective to only be able to talk about dogs. Having realistic expectations is a massive part of being successful.
