The Risks of Encrypting Your Seed Phrase
In order for ledger to or the device itself to remove your seed phrase, you start it and encrypt it, you have to actually consent first. What people are not understanding is you do this every single time you ever use your device in order for you to send a transaction. If you don't want to do that and you don't, you would rather put it on a piece of paper and put it in a vault, then you don't have to. Just don't consent. Don't sign up. Don't opt into this feature and you're all good.
