The Impacts of the Diversity of Chemistries for PFAS
Longer carbon chains tend to be more bio-cumulative. Shorter chain things will be easier to illuminate from the body, from a system or from a tissue. But when it comes to PFAS, that's not always the case. We also see them bio-accumulating in plants which of course could potentially be a risk to our ecosystem animals, humans, wildlife through different food chains.
