What Are the Next Steps in Dialysis?
Patient decides on HD. What would our next steps be? We know outcomes are better with fistulas and then catheters. The vascular surgeon can help determine which arm is the fistula likely to go in. At about three months out, that's when we want the fistula to be placed.
