Sally Kohn: The Fed has a dual mandate. It's supposed to be keeping inflation in check, you're supposed to care about unemployment as well. She says the Phillips curve is no longer stable and that we don't even need a recession for interest rates to affect black and brown people more than other groups. "It's emblematic of how structural racism and white supremacy is embedded into our economic systems," she says.
