The Gift of Being an Imigrant
The gift of being an imigrant is that you straddle through cultures, or tree cultures, all the time. And it forces you to compare, which is a gift for a writer, because really, writing is a bout come bith. So i sometimes wonder, amis i when as a fresh off the boat person and landed in massachusetts in a very liberal college? As a result, i became a democrat by philosophy. I have no answer to that, but i think those are the kind of questions that i ask. Is that, am i ad attic? Am i liberal because of where i landed? But once you leave your home town then there's a tendency to go inward
