Reparations for Slavery in Jim Crow
The idea that any rooted in the American idea is very resonant with a scriptural story that talks about conversion, that talks about change. It seems to me that if someone like me, whose family had nothing to do with the American founding, has no personal responsibility for slavery and Jim Crow, it should morally compel him to say yes he does have a responsibility at some level.
