The number of businesses in North America offering summer Fridays off went up 43% between 2012 and 2019. By 2020, over half of businesses were giving those coveted three-day summer weekends. But whether it's summer Fridays or designated time with colleagues, both people had the same message for me. Work when you're working during the summer and don't when you're not.
