The Intersection Between Race and Sexism in Your Background
I reckon I'm getting treated a bit differently because I'm a girl. My parents split all the work down the middle, there was no sense that there is women's work or men's work. Even at university, of course, doing engineering, I was one of the few girls in the department. It was only really when I saw the data showing the lack of psychological differences between men and women that I started to reflect on why it was that I had made choices that other girls had not made.
