This song perfectly encapsulates what people love and what people hate about disco. It is like extremely positive. How can you not want to hug and hold every single person around you? This song made some babies. People have always lost themselves in dancing when the economy's been bad. The discos now are doing the same thing that the big dance halls with the crystal chandeliers did during the depression. Everyone's out to spend their unemployment check, their welfare to lose themselves. And I do think that's one of the main appeals of like a song like this. That it just makes you feel good and it's very emotional.
