Keeping Predictability Fast in a User Interface

Rayca's search is very predictable. We deliberately made sure that it's a fast algorithm that matches all your entries, but it doesn't do async operations. The moment you stray from totally deterministic, predictable, user controlled search, I'm basically an algorithm for that,. It just becomes overwhelmingly tempting for the platform to do nefarious stuff. You can go in there and say, no, just show me tweets of the people that I have explicitly followed in the order that they posted them.
